Camino 2026

The Camino Frances is calling us again. This will be the 11th time we will walk this extraordinary route which offers breath-taking scenery, varied terrain, Spanish culture, cuisine and hospitality all shared with pilgrims from all over the planet. And if that were not enough, the path encompasses: (1) many bridges and roads forged by the Roman conquests of over 2000 years ago (2) the route of Charlemagne’s military campaign in the late 8th century to drive the moors from northern Spain and (3) hundreds of beautiful churches and etror cathedrals to the Santiago de Compostela, the burial place of St James, traveled by millions, beginning in the Middle Ages thru today.

Although we are now (Linda) or nearly (Jim) octogenarians , we are hopeful that the Camino will once again “provide”, allowing us to safely begin our walk in Pamplona and conclude our pilgrimage some 46 days later in Santiago de Compostela for the 8th time.

Our previous Caminos are documented on this site in the Menu under ” Trip Journals”, for your perusal.

We are delighted that you have chosen to follow us on this remarkable adventure. Feel free to share your comments or pose questions as a means to further enrich your participation.
